BNFTP adds support for the bnftp:// protocol in web browsers. BNFTP is a proprietary protocol created by Blizzard Entertainment for Battle.net games. This program will allow you to connect to Battle.net servers (or any third-party servers that use the same protocol) and get files off of them.

To use this program after installing, try entering something like this into your favorite web browser: bnftp://uswest.battle.net/lockdown-IX86-00.mpq. BNFTP will open and attempt to download the file from Battle.net. There are many files you can download, including patch files, DLLs, advertisements, text files, and icons. All you need to know is the name of the file you want.

BNFTP requires the Visual Basic Runtime Environment, COMDLG32.OCX, MSCOMCTL.OCX, MSWINSCK.OCX, and SSubTmr6.dll. All these files may be obtained from the Dependencies page.
