PMRes Viewer is a read-only archive tool for Pale Moon resource files. Pale Moon uses a slightly customized PKZip file with Brotli compression, which most archiving tools can not extract. PMRes Viewer is currently the only tool designed specifically to extract files from palemoon.res archives.
The resources stored in the archive are useful for extension and theme builders, as references for customization, overlaying, or overriding. However, modifying a palemoon.res file is not advised, and writing to archives is not supported by this tool.
