Need a two-factor authenticator for your computer? Tired of using your phone to log in to a website on your desktop? Introducing SecondFactor, a One-Time-Password Authenticator for Windows.
SecondFactor supports Time-based One Time Passwords, which can be added directly, using a QR Code, or with an OTPAUTH URL. Your Secrets are stored securely for your local account, with the option to protect the program with a password for advanced security.
The main window of SecondFactor provides quick access to multiple authentication profiles and lists not only the present code, but the last code and the next one as well, for ultimate convenience. Codes are copied automatically on click, saving you time and energy.
Advanced support for SHA1, SHA256, and SHA512 is included by default, with either 6 or 8 digit codes, and a rolling time period of anywhere between one second to one day. Standard defaults are selected automatically, so if you just need the code to work, no worries!
Profiles can be exported and imported using encrypted (AES-256) Zip files for easy backup and recovery of your authenticator secrets. Because Zip's AES implementation is not secure by modern standards, an enhanced encryption method is also available.
SecondFactor is free for use or modification without limitation. However, it comes with no license, warranty, or guarantee of any kind. That being said, you can still ask any questions in the Comments section below, or contact me directly for assistance.
Also Available: 🐧SecondFaqtor (for Linux)

I'm tired of trying to get every anti-virus to stop false-positiving my work just because I'm a smaller developer. Feel free to send a false positive report, if you want.

As I said, it's white-on-white, so it doesn't look like it's there. The only time you'll see it is when it's selected. It should be directly below the default icon. Do make sure you've downloaded and installed the latest version, of course - SecondFactor has no automatic update process, for security reasons.

Could you please provide a lighter colored icon for Second Factor. When I pinned it to the my dark colored taskbar I couldn't see it because your current icon is black.

After clicking on a couple of spots I saw it. It's below the black colored icon.
