is there a way to block the recommendations at the bottom/end of the video? i've heard that ?rel=0 at the end of the link can block them, but i can't say i've tried it with a standard embed(i've tried with the plugin link, but it just refuses to load), nor would i know how it might affect the plugin- still, i'm curious all the same. amazing plugin nonetheless. :>

I've added "rel: 0" to the playerVars and it seems to have added it to the URL. However, according to the docs at <https://developers.google.com/youtube/player_parameters>, the setting simply limits the videos list to the same channel's videos, as of 2018. That being said, it seems to work as you hoped for the videos I tested with, so results may vary?

Hey,
It seems it's broken on firefox, older version used to work.
I'm using librewolf 134.0.1-1
Please look into it, thanks.

I'm afraid my XUL extensions only support Pale Moon, as indicated in the "Supports" list.
When it works, it works great; here in 2025, it's now probably one of the most convenient ways to watch youtube videos without having to actually touch that horrid site. But unfortunately, I'm finding more and more videos that this just, does not work on. It seems to work at first, then says that the video is unavailable and redirects me right back to youtube. Please fix this. I just close down the tab instead rather than touch youtube itself. At least make some sort of OPTION to get rid of whatever this horrid un-redirect is.

It redirects back to the official YouTube page for the video when the uploader has marked the video with the "do not allow embedding" feature, or if the video has been deleted.

An example video is this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZs4iTScf5I
uTube v33.3 and v33.4 redirects too quickly. Official YouTube fails for me in Pale Moon. I reverted to v33.2 because it gives an understandable error message, and then I can decide what to do. For videos with the "do not allow embedding" feature, I view them on invidious.io (search for the ID number).

I've added an option to disable the fallback feature in v33.5.

It would be great if you could block the YT context/clarify messages; they overlay on the screen.

Try the legacy release in GitHub - otherwise, you'll need to make some install.rdf changes yourself.

honestly, your addon works good on my palemoon based web browser. I say palemoon based, because it has unofficial branding. :)
