I've put together a new installer and uninstaller that optionally support the ncurses interface using the "dialog" package. This should provide a slightly more friendly (and mouse-compatible) installation process for Linux users. The new installer also includes a larger range of out-of-box support, including build automation for Arch Linux and Slackware.

Here is the full list of distros I've tested the installer on: antiX, Arch, CentOS, Debian, elementaryOS, Fedora, Mageia, Manjaro, Mint, ROSA Desktop, Slackware, Sparky, SuSE, Ubuntu, and Zorin.

If you run into trouble when using the new installer or uninstaller, please let me know.

 found this link:
 https://linuxize.com/post/how-to-install-mono-on-centos-8/

 dnf install mono-complete
(dnf install libgdiplus, installed before mono-complete, mono-complete obsoleted it)
 dnf install mono-basic

 ran ./SRT_Setup.bz2.sh
 logged in with Xorg
able to launch SRT from menu

 mono --version
 6.8.0.105

 Hope this is helpful.

Thanks for posting this. Adding a repository is beyond my comfort level for an automated installer, so I have to "avoid" any distro that doesn't have Mono in their base set.

For anyone that noticed the tray icon's graph starts off wrong on the computer's startup, then gets "corrected" later, the next version will take care of it. Sorta waiting for something else to go wrong before making a release, but I'll push up a new version on the 1st if nothing else happens.

The TLS Proxy should no longer be necessary for Exede users if you use MONO 4.8 or newer! You can grab the latest ALPHA version of MONO from <http://www.mono-project.com/download/alpha/>.

 Exede Users:
Sorry a fix is taking so long, there's a lot of other things going on in my life. If you need your usage right now, please try out the Remote Usage Service. If you don't think it's worth the $15 a year, you can get a full refund for the first 60 days (PayPal's limit, not mine).
